Does it cost anything?
It is free. Connecting the MCP, checks, and listing cost nothing, and there is no sign-up or key.
The demo video is recorded and edited on your own computer. Agent usage follows your agent's own plan.
Does it post to Product Hunt?
No. Product Hunt has no public submit API.
Instead you get .autohunt/producthunt.md to paste in PH form order, and each field can be copied from /p/<slug>/ph on the listing. You submit it yourself.
How do I take a listing down?
Tell @flowoodzx on X. The admin hides the listing, and a hidden listing stays hidden even when it is crawled again.
Deleting launch.json alone does not take it down, because a failed re-crawl keeps the listing up.
What if it is rejected?
The status page from your ping (/status/<id>) shows each check, the reasons, and how to fix them. Your agent gets the same through autohunt_get_status.
Fix, deploy, and ping again. To check without an agent, enter the URL on the launch check page. Temporary problems such as timeouts or server errors are retried after 1, 5, and 30 minutes.
Do sub-path sites work?
Yes. Put it at .well-known/launch.json under the site's folder. Pinging https://dunzkoi.github.io/loupecast/en/ looks in /loupecast/en/, then /loupecast/, then /.
links.website must start with that folder's URL. On GitHub Pages, an address like dunzkoi.github.io counts as its own domain per user.
What about apps behind a login?
You need one public page that opens without a login. Autohunt fetches links.website itself to check for 200 and a <title>, and fetches the images from public URLs.
The gallery uses real screens only. For screens behind a login, the agent uses a dev seed account or asks you, then captures them. No fake screens.
Which languages are shown?
Korean is at / and English at /en/, with the same layout. launch.json's base values are English; Korean text goes in i18n.ko.
Korean pages use the i18n.ko value per field, else the base value. English pages use the base value.
What are the ping limits?
Per registrable domain, 5 per hour and 20 per day; per IP, 30 per hour. Over a limit you get 429 with Retry-After, the seconds until you can send again.

How do I update a listing?
Edit launch.json, deploy, and ping again. If your agent does it, it reads the existing launch.json first and starts from those values.
The current listing stays visible until the new version passes. The discovery date and listing URL do not change.
